Monday Update #2 – September 3, 2012
Note: Every Monday I will be posting about what I have been reading, listening, writing, and doing in my life. Hopefully it gives a little insight into my life. Enjoy!
What I’m Looking Forward To
Start of the NFL season. Pro football is by far my favorite sport to watch. At the end of each summer I look forward to the Fall and the start of the NFL season. I mostly watch the Eagles (my favorite team), but I will also watch parts from other games during the weekend.
This year I am returning to fantasy football after a few year’s absence. I’m happy with my team: Rodgers, White, Cruz, Austin, Forte, Turner, Gronk, etc. I’ve even got Eli Manning on the bench (right where he belongs!).
What I’m Reading (Book)
- A Genius for Deception by Nicholas Rankin. A book on how the British used deception during WWI and WWII.
- Darwin’s Black Box by Michael Behe (still reading).
- I finished Maphead by Ken Jennings. A funny, informative read about the role and impact of maps on our lives.
What I’m Reading (Online)
- Don’t Give Me Relevancy by Ben Reed
- Sun Myung Moon Has Died by Ed Stetzer – A look at the beliefs of the Unification Church
What I’m Listening To
- Migratory Patterns by Lowercase Noises. It helps for me to listen to music while I read, but it cannot have words in it. Often, I listen to soundtracks or ambient music. My new favorite group to listen to is Lowercase Noises. Beautiful music, and great to listen to while reading.
